1. This is my first Podbean "podcast": a reading of A. A. Milne's poem "Buckingham Palace."
2. My second assignment was to describe what I see outside my window, using Podomatic:
3. My third assignment was to record a Skype interview and post it on Podbean. I was fortunate to find fellow webhead Anne Fox, co-creator of the podcast Absolutely Intercultural, online and Anne graciously consented to let me interview her. What a scoop!
Here is my Audioboo Mystery Person, from Activity 2 in Week 4:
Another Week 4 task, Vocaroo voice emails to Miguel and Evelyn:
Here is my tongue-twister, recorded in Chirbit:
Check this out on Chirbit
Since the tongue-twister is too long for the text box in Chirbit, I will paste it here:
Theophilus Thadeus Thistledown,
The successful thistle-sifter,
While sifting a sieve-full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb.
Now, if Theophilus Thadeus Thistledown,
The successful thistle-sifter,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb,
See that thou, while sifting a sieve-full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust not three thousand thistles through the thick of thy thumb.
This is a nice tongue-twister for advanced students to practice their th-sounds. I tell them that if they can manage to say this, they can say anything.
OMG! That's a true difficult tongue-twister!!!!! Nina, according to your last statement, I think I cannot say anything. :D There is no way I could say it without getting my tongue tied.
